Bio
Cynthia Bloodgood is an educator, technical director, scenic and lighting designer and arts advocate. She joined the faculty of SDSU in 2023. She earned an MFA in technical direction from SDSU, and studied technical theatre and design at BYU She teaches technical theater skills at SDSU and works with local youth theatre programs and schools, regional theaters, IATSE 122, and production companies. Technical direction credits include shows at Moxie Theater, SDSU, San Diego Junior Theatre, and schools around San Diego. Designs include work with Moxie and other local theaters, and schools and educational programs around San Diego. She is pleased to be working with such a dedicated and creative team at SDSU.
